How to make your laptop faster

Laptops are very common now, as they're much more affordable than they have been in the past. For me laptops are the new desktops. But no matter what you pay for a notebook, you'll likely have the same complaints as most other notebook owners. These tips will help you get more use out of your laptop, no matter how new or old. But before doing anything else, remove the notebook's battery and disconnect its power cord. Remember to ground yourself before you open the case, either with a grounding strap (the safest way), or by touching a piece of grounded metal (a lamp or water pipe will do), while touching a metal part on the case's exterior.

1. Battery
A laptop's internal battery has a huge list of tasks to handle. It's operating a full-on PC ,including a high-resolution LCD screen. So how make Laptop battery last longer?, First when using battery power, set the brightness as low as you can tolerate. Then get used to using the touchpad or the other included pointing device. Don't rely on a mouse when you're using batteries unless you absolutely have to use one. On a related note, don't leave any devices plugged in that you do not require. Ok this is some trick for power saving.

2. Tweak Laptop Performance
It is highly recommended that you remove extra OEM programs that might have been installed when the notebook was built, which you had no use for. It is usually fairly obvious which of these programs can be removed, and hence most can be removed from your laptop. One major performance advantage often overlooked by notebook owners is that they generally run faster and cooler when plugged in.

3. Update Laptop Drivers
notebooks will generally run most efficiently with the newest system software and drivers installed. Check Windows Update frequently, install the latest video drivers from the video chip manufacturer's web site. Drivers play a major role in system stability and one should check for new versions

4. Upgrade Your Laptop Memory
System memory is that much more important, Since Laptops are notorious for slow hard drives. Upgrading the RAM on a notebook generally results in a major performance increase. More memory will help those horribly slow load times, keep programs smoother, and might even increase battery life, as the notebook will require less disk swapping. If you're stuck with 128 MB or less, memory should be the first step in tweaking your notebook.

That's it hope help your laptop Run faster and Smooth
